If there’s anyone that’s weary out there, read these verses with me, and feel better-- starting with a verse for those who feel wormy:

Isaiah 41:14

14Fear not, you worm Jacob,

you men of Israel!

I am the one who helps you, declares the LORD;

your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Romans 3:9-12

For we have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, as it is written:

"None is righteous, no, not one;

I hate to be negative but ...

Some who are weary ... are weary of God not answering prayer. Some are worn out with promises that for some reason do not apply to them.

What do we say to these people?

Hi Woody! I'd say, good for you for being weary of this old world where promises are often so delayed-- aren't we all longing to be home where all the answers are forever answered in the positive-- and the more the hour grows near the darker it's looking, but I know He will answer -- the very One we are waiting for will answer with a shout and the voice of an archangel and trumpet sound, and He will save us! In the meantime I have to go to the promises sometimes many times a day. I've found some wonderful "negative" ones that turn out right that get me through. Did you know Jesus was quoting a promise chapter when He said "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" I'll have to look that chapter up for you, but it comes out right with God assuring and reassuring the very one He seems to have totally rejected!
