Has anyone talked to his professors about his scholastic abilities? Any anecdotes? It is odd that no one is bragging that they knew him or taught him or lived with him. When did he meet Michele and how? Are there photos? Ever wonder why no one has come forward from "President" Obama's past saying he knew him, attended school with him, was his friend.....? Can you think of ANYBODY besides family who has ever come forward from his past? VERY, VERY STRANGE . . . . You would think that people who barely knew him would be claiming him if for no other reason than just to bask in some of his limelight. Let's face it. As insignificant as we all are...people with whom we went to school remember our names or faces...people remember we were the clowns or the dorks or the brains or the quiet ones or the bullies...or something about us. George Stephanopoulos of ABC News commented on this during the 2008 campaign. He questioned why no one had acknowledged the "President" was in their classroom or ate in the same cafeteria or made impromptu speeches on campus. Stephanopoulos also was a classmate of Obama at Columbia University -- the class of 1984. He says he never had a single class with him. How can a person of such superb teleprompter-reading acumen make it all the way through life as such a zero? Why don't people remember him? So......I'm British and speak with a British accent and I'm black too. My parents are Jamaican but alas there is no trace of that heritage when I talk. I know some long words and I'm not in the least but intimidated by white society's prejudices. I have the good fortune to look a bit younger than I am. There are some people that I meet that are puzzled, confused, curious and embarrassed. In conversation, people say "you're a pastor?" "you're from England?" "You speak so well" (for a Black person), "So how did you get here?", "how come you were born in England", "do you have any family here?" What they are really saying is that "I don't understand", "you don't fit the stereotypes that I have". They are trying to figure out that if I am for real. So some in the right wing, largely white segment of American society are trying to figure out how this mixed race guy, with a strange name became their President. The only way that that could have happened is that somehow he part of some grand conspiracy because those regular black funny name Americans would have no chance. There has to be some way to reconcile this dissonance. He's a Socialist plant He's a Muslim spy He's the anti Christ (of course the anti-Christ would not be an American) He's Kenyan (which is as bad as being a socialist Muslim Antichrist) There must be some reason for this betrayal of American values (having a non-white male as President). As the US immigration officer said when I returned to the US after burying my father in law in the UK, "how do you expect me to believe that you are British and that you are a Pastor?". It may make you feel special but it is not that uncommon.I run across and talk to black people several times a week in our small down.They speak as well as anyone else. Most have nice homes,some more modest than others but well kept. I'm sure that if you asked, you would be able to find many people who remembered being in school with Karl. I know if you were to look for people who went to school with me you would find hundreds, including many teachers, and all the way from first grade through the university. In fact, some are on FB and on other places online. You could find school annuals with my pictures in all my classes from first grade to high school. The universities I attended have my picture in their school yearbooks, and my name is listed among the graduates. Has anyone found these things of Obama? The trail exists. There is virtually no trail in Obama's history other than the one he made with his 2 memoirs. It is strange. That's all. I'm not drawing any Machiavellian conclusions.
