Moderators John317 Posted July 30, 2011 Moderators Share Posted July 30, 2011 «he entered once for all into the Holy Place, taking not the blood of goats and calves but his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.» Heb 9:12 "The Holy Place" is a good translation. "The sanctuary" is even better. "The holies" is a literal translation. It's talking about the entire sanctuary without specifying a particular part. It means Christ entered God's holy Presence. Quote John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
