144K AND the great multitude

At some point just before the very end, at the shaking I think, a great multitude will come into the church. Replacing those who have been shook out. That's a bunch of "newbies". So here we are with a "purified" church and a lot of folks that need educatin'. Many will have to learn in a short while (months I think it is) what it's taken other's years to learn.

Time proceeds (quickly) and at some point there is only one group left that goes through to the end, the 144,000, or so it has been suggested.

So, what happened to the great multitude that came into the church? Are they ALL martyred or die off for some reason?

OR, are do they also go through to the end, alive when Jesus comes, but are not counted among the 144,000? Some have suggested the 144,000 are the "leaders" of the great multitude and that both groups go through Jacobs time of trouble together. False doctrine? What say ye?

The great multitude are those who will be raised at the coming of Christ, at the general resurrection. Before they are resurrected the 144,000 must first go through the time of Jacob's trouble and come out victorious. They are 'firsfruits" unto them that are sleeping in the graves, the faithful of all ages. They are firstfruits unto them that are sleeping in the grrave just as Jesus was the firstfruits of the multitude of captives who were raised with Him. The 144,000 will be as though they had been killed.

Only those who pass the great final test at the end of the loud cry and pass the scrutiny of the judgment of the living can be numbered among the 144,000 when probation shall close.

We must be talking about two different "multitudes".

I'm referring to those folks who enter the "church" as a result of the shaking AND more importantly a decision made for or against the Sabbath issue. Replacing the "multitude" who left the church at the shaking time. What happens to THAT new Adventist multitude, newbies in the church if you would, IF they are not counted among the 144,000?

These "newbies" enter the church and then BAM, they get martyred in short order or die or become part of the 144K, or something....

To begin with, the majority of those who will be caught in the net of the loud cry will turn out to be foolish virgins. Some, yes, among the wise will die martyrs or of old age but those who make it through the great final test will become the 144,000.

So at the time of the great final test and the close of probation there aren't multitudes to go through the time of Jacob's trouble but only a faithful few.

The "great multitude" mentioned in relation to the 144,000 are the faithful of all ages who shall be raised from their graves at the coming of Christ.

The foolish virgins, when tested by the death decree at the end of the loud cry, will return to the churches they had come out of and go through the great time of trouble and they will be agents in persecuting the 144,000.

OK, were hung up on the words "great multitude", let me try "a big bunch of folks" that come into the church as a result of:

1. The shaking.

2. A decision about the Sunday vs Sabbath laws passed by the State, Nation, World.

This happens right at the END of time, they are not going to die of old age. Many will be young people. I suspect this "multitude of people" will be much larger than a 144,000 that at that time will make up the membership of "Gods church" around the world.

Assuming these, mostly, "newbies", make up only a small part of the 144,000, world wide, but make up a much bigger number of "church members", that suggests: a LOT, a very high percentage, will die off. IF, ONLY, 144,000 (world wide) live through the time of trouble. They will die between the shaking, the Sunday law, and the close of probation. A SHORT time frame.

OR, there is a significantly larger group that "just" a 144,000 alive when Jesus returns. But the 144,000 are a "special group", the FIRST fruits of a larger group comprised of them PLUS "a big bunch of other people".
