Stan Posted October 29, 2011 Share Posted October 29, 2011 Donna Mae Lanaville October 29, 2011 ESCANABA - Donna Mae Lanaville, 71, 2701 1st Ave S., Escanaba, passed away on Friday morning, Oct. 28, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. She was born on Dec. 4, 1939, in Ford River Township, the daughter of Mose and Lena (DeGrave) Lanaville. She attended John Lemmer School in Escanaba. Donna enjoyed sewing, knitting, painting, making ceramic dolls and cooking. She was a member of the Wilson Seventh-day Adventist Church. Donna is survived by her four sisters, Marlene Robinson of Escanaba, Emma Jean Wilson of Dolan Springs, Ariz., Joanne (Richard) Wendt of Escanaba and Marilyn (Wayne) Fournier of Dolan Springs, Ariz.; brother, Kenneth (Sherry) Lanaville of Bark River; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Verna Hakes; and brothers-in-law, Russell Hakes and Donald Wilson. Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 1-2 p.m. (EST) at Seventh-day Adventist Church in Wilson. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Wilson Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Lanaville family.
