Stan Posted November 27, 2011 Share Posted November 27, 2011 Eileen Kay Podraza of Port Orchard Sept. 22, 1946 to Nov. 25, 2011 Eileen Podraza passed away at home, with a positive Christian attitude, surrounded by family and friends, following a 27 year battle with cancer. Eileen was organist and pianist for 34 years at Bremerton 7th Day Adventist Christian Church. Teaching was her life long passion, touching many lives along the way. She was a gifted seamstress, event planner, gardener, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and wife. She will be greatly missed by all. Group Health Hospice and Martha and Mary's At Home caregivers were the Angels that provided loving head-to-toe tenderness in her last days. The family is especially appreciative of their kindness. Eileen, born in Strasburg North Dakota, leaves behind her husband Don, daughter Wendy (Todd Levenseller), son Darren (Terri Podraza), grandchildren Elizabeth, Evan and Nathan with great grandchildren Aiden and Jagger and sisters –Sharon Mullins, Lennie Anderson and Marlene Yurg, with numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on December 3, 2011, 2 p.m., at the Bremerton 7th Day Adventist Church at 4949 Taylor Road. Donations in Eileen's memory may be made to Group Health Hospice.
