Stan
Roseburg - Carol Lommasson, a long-time resident of the Roseburg, Oregon, area, died Monday, the 19th of December at a local Medical Center at the age of 70. Carol was born December 3rd, 1941, in Brule, Wisconsin, four days before Pearl Harbor. She was raised by her Mom, Jorid, and her father, Frank who shaped her work ethic and value system in the Seventh day Adventist religion. She had a strong and special relationship with her four siblings in whom she shared a mutual love and respect. Carol was a one of a kind woman in which it is impossible to describe her in one word. The words that come to mind are stoic, courageous, beautiful, willful, strong, tenacious, and loving. She was the consummate lady and her endless forgiveness and grace was stretched to the limits with her seven children and long suffering illness. Her strength and sunny disposition was an inspiration to us all.
