Lillian F. McAnaney, 93 of Middletown NY

Lillian F. McAnaney of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 12, 2012, surrounded by her devoted family at Elant at Goshen. She was 93.

The daughter of the late Fergus Alexander and Harriet Franke Renton, she was born on December 5, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY. Lillian married Harry Phillip McAnaney on July 22, 1939.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry in 2004; her parents; six siblings: Francis A. Renton, Alice Coates-Greene, Ira H. Renton, Fergus A. Renton, Dorothy Fallon and George W. Renton, and one daughter, Maureen Carol Lamanno.

Lillian was a woman of great faith. She was an active member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Middletown where she served as a Deaconess, belonged to the Friendship Club and worked on the Community Service Committee.

Lillian is survived by her daughter, Karen Daly and her husband, William of Middletown; grandchildren: Richard Lamanno and his wife, Christine of Babylon, NY, Robynn Bassler and her husband, Dennis of Sayerville, Karyn Talmadge and her husband, George of Goshen, OH, Kellianne Freer and her husband, AJ of Narrowsburg, Kimberly and Shawn Daly of Middletown, Kristi-Jo Radeboldt of Narrowsburg, Richard Radeboldt and his wife, Heather of Floral City, FL, William Daly, Jr. and his wife, Susan, Daniel and Christy Daly all of Middletown, Jodi Ianazzi of Bloomingburg, Thomas Radeboldt of Williamsburg, VA, and Carol Radeboldt of Newport News, VA. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Shane Talmadge, Crystal Talmadge and Pedro Mass, Brian Talmadge, Samantha, Brittney, Andrew, Matthew and Benjamin Freer, Evan and Gavin Daly, Brianna and Elizabeth Spina, Kayla, Gracie and Lacie Radeboldt, Michael and Gabrielle Lamanno, Grace Daly, Angela Ianazzi, Tristan Radeboldt, Joe Bolton, Lawrence and Jillian Noel and Sherri Noel; and great-great grandchildren, Lilliana Talmas and Richard Nolff.

Visitation hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. On Thursday, March 15, 2012, the family will receive friends and church family from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 75 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. Viewing and church services will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the church, Dr. Victor Dyman will officiate. Cremation will be private. Burial of ashes will take place in the family plot at a later date in Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
