Administrators Gail Posted June 13, 2012 Administrators Share Posted June 13, 2012 Quote: Romans 6:16Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Is yielding such a hard thing? How does one "yield"? Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. skyblue888
The inclination to yield must come from the Lord Himself for "The Lord imparts all the powers, all the grace, all the repentance, all the inclination, all the pardon of sins in presenting His rightousness for man to grasp by living faith." F.W.24. And "Living faith is essential to our salvation that we should lay hold upon the merits of the blood of a crucified and risen Saviour." F.W.64. Does this help Gail? sky :) Quote "The merits of His sacrifice are sufficient to present to the Father in our behalf." S.C.36.
