Clio Posted May 15, 2005 Share Posted May 15, 2005 I'm not sure I can explain my relationship with Jesus. It is emotional, spiritual, mental, physical. It encompasses every area of my life. He is my Bridegroom, my Husband, my Counselor, my Kinsman, my Playmate, my Refuge, and the very Breath I breathe. When my husband could not be all the things an earthly husband is to his wife, Jesus did them. He took care of car repair... sealing a large crack in my engine block while the mechanic watched... He anchored my emotions and ensured I felt secure and cherished, He provided little "presents" as pick-me-ups when I couldn't afford them, He provided the extra income when mine wouldn't stretch nearly enough... He kept me safe, and on top of all that, healed my husband and returned him to me.... And then, just because when Jesus does it, it's always as wonderful in every way as possible, when Jesus gave me back my husband, He gave me a Godly man, healed our marriage, and restored a love I thought gone and dead.
