bonnie
Just how low and desperate can Obama get? Is it possible for him to sink lower Politics: Indoctrinated Liberal 'Zombie-Children' Sing About Obama's Potential Loss Published by: Robert Laurie on Saturday October 27th, 2012 Robert Laurie By ROBERT LAURIE - ...And here you thought the 'virginity' ad was creepy. There's nothing liberals love more than brainwashing your kids. Ever since the election of Barack Obama, they've been creating shameless songs and raps designed to get your children singing about social issues and our fearless leader. The latest example is a black and white ad, conceived and created by San Francisco ad agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners. You may not know the agency's name, but you certainly know their work. Jeff Goodby and Rich Silverstein are two of America's most highly respected ad men - the force behind the iconic "Got Milk?" campaign. This time, the duo has turned its attention to propping up the desperate Obama campaign. They've assembled a choir of "children from the future" who sing about the destruction of the United States, the environment, and the Earth. As if that's not bad enough, Big Bird has been fired too. Basically, it's a left-wing "Small World After All" that covers evey one of their worn-out memes in a clunky, two-minute, ditty. According to their awful little song, they're mad and they blame their parents who, at some time in the past, "failed the test." You can assume this means that, in their future, Mitt Romney won the upcoming election and everything went to hell afterward. Here's the video. The art direction is by Silverstein and the lyrics, which appear below, are by Goodby. Bonus points if you can get through the whole thing without throwing up in your mouth. LYRICS Imagine an America Where strip mines are fun and free Where gays can be fixed And sick people just die And oil fills the sea We don’t have to pay for freeways! Our schools are good enough Give us endless wars On foreign shores And lots of Chinese stuff We’re the children of the future American through and through But something happened to our country And we’re kinda blaming you We haven’t killed all the polar bears But it’s not for lack of trying Big Bird is sacked The Earth is cracked And the atmosphere is frying Congress went home early They did their best we know You can’t cut spending With elections pending Unless it’s welfare dough We’re the children of the future American through and through But something happened to our country And we’re kinda blaming you Find a park that is still open And take a breath of poison air They foreclosed your place To build a weapon in space But you can write off your au pair It’s a little awkward to tell you But you left us holding the bag When we look around The place is all dumbed down And the long term’s kind of a drag We’re the children of the future American through and through But something happened to our country And yeah, we’re blaming you You did your best You failed the test Mom and Dad We’re blaming you! Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Members phkrause
So what are the bonus points we get if we can read all the words of the song? Quote phkrause By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}
Guest
Having those children sing that is just downright creepy. They did the same thing last election, with little children singing praises to Obama. It's creepy I tell ya...
Guest
There's something fundamentally wrong with doing that..

They did the same thing last election, with little children singing praises to Obama. It's creepy I tell ya... My brother and his wife adopted his two grandsons and the school they attended tried that. The oldest buy refused and told them. They also tried some goofy essay assignment praising Obama. The school was forbidden to force the two boys to participate and after a bit of a ruckus it was scrapped. It is creepy but what is worse I think is so many people applaud that or give a big yawn.
