"Must Be Fulfilled At The Time Pointed Out In The Symbolic Service"

“When Jesus in the synagogue read from the prophecy, He stopped short of the final specification concerning the Messiah's work. Having read the words, "To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord," He omitted the phrase, "and the day of vengeance of our God." Isaiah 61:2. This was just as much truth as was the first of the prophecy, and by His silence Jesus did not deny the truth. But this last expression was that upon which His hearers delighted to dwell, and which they were desirous of fulfilling.” DA 240

If the second part of the phrase was also fulfilled, how was it done so?

No, Windsor, the second part of the prophecy was not fulfilled at that time because it prophesied of the "day of vengeance of our God." Isaiah 61:2.

This part of the prophecy will not be fulfilled until the end of time.

The Jubilee trumpet was blown on the Day of Atonement (Leviticus 25:8-10) in type. Jesus interpreted it by announcing the Jubilee on the Sabbath Day of Atonement in the synagogue, therefore the Jubilee at the end of time must follow the same pattern--Sabbath Day of Atonement when the "day of vengeance" comes.

The statement below states when the actual Jubilee will begin at the end of time. It is in connection with the deliverance of God's people from the death decree, when the Father's voice is heard speaking the day and hour of the second coming.

This same statement is given with more detail on page 285, 286 of Early Writings, as well.

“And when the never-ending blessing was pronounced on those who had honored God in keeping His Sabbath holy, there was a mighty shout of victory over the beast and over his image.

Then commenced the jubilee, when the land should rest. I saw the pious slave rise in triumph and victory and shake off the chains that bound him, while his wicked master was in confusion and knew not what to do; for the wicked could not understand the words of the voice of God.” EW 34,35.

All the ceremonies of the Jewish law were prophetic, typical of mysteries in the plan of redemption.” 6BC 1095

To repeat---

The Jubilee trumpet was blown on the Day of Atonement (Leviticus 25:8-10).

The Day of Atonement was specified to be on a “Sabbath” (Leviticus 23:32), although it came on different days of the week each year, meaning that when it would be fulfilled it would fall on a 7th day Sabbath. In 27 C.E. the Day of Atonement was the Sabbath day that Jesus was in the synagogue reading the Jubilee prophecy of Isaiah 61.

“Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth [day] of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year,...” Leviticus 25:9, 10.

"It [shall be] unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth [day] of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.” Leviticus 23:32.
