If you are referring to me joeb....you may have never meant “capitalism”, but all things considered, it would be involved in a society were people just fend/expend on themselves. Heaven will be involving another dimension, one of abilities, perhaps even “materially” so, in regards to one’s better architectural skills, so a person deciding to “capitalize” on those special skill could be an issue.

As presented here on Nahum 1:9, Sin, actually another GC, will actually not occur again because this concluded GC will make it that then God will not allow for this/it, as, as discussed here, a GC II could/would be eternal.

(Again), Evidently by God’s wisdom, He sees it as best to not equally bless all with the same abilities/talents...(and with one still having to develop whatever giftedness they have), so God’s Law sees it as best that all will share with others ‘that they have and these others do not have.’ That Divine Socialism is fundamental to Heaven. No “imagination” necessary...This Theology is straightly the fruit of proper Biblical exegesis which collectively takes all what has been said and revealed in the Bible and SOP on a topic most seriously and seeks to harmonize all those things, thus resulting in such understandings.

-By the way, I had mentioned ca. 373.000 worlds organized for human habitation since this was first done with this planet (i.e., one new organized world every 7 days), the actual number was/is 312,000.

Don't know where this idea, "no poverty in heaven", came from. The New Earth, according to Christ, will be populated by the poor. In other words, those who are chosen to live on the New Earth will be poor...no money, few if any possessions, no homes to own... When Self is removed from human consciousness, then selfishness will no longer exist.

Heaven/s really means "up" or "sky" or "space", not some nebulous, mythical, ethereal abode out there somewhere. There are starship cities out there, according to the scriptures, and someday we may be quite surprised to see them arriving at our planet.

After the Earth is restored, the humans chosen to become members of the Kingdom will work six days and rest the seventh. Their tasks? Most will probably be raising sheep and cattle or growing produce. I picture them being assigned to commune-like groups of 50 or 100, where tools and equipment are held in common. Some will have jobs in the city hovering overhead. Because Self no longer exists, no one will own anything. That is why Christ said that the poor will inherit the Earth.

One could say that this is communism, and it is, but unpolluted by tyrants and despots.

Yes, Jesus said the meek would inherit the earth. (Matt. 5:5)

This refers to poor in spirit (those not proud, boastful, self assured).

Moses was the meekest man on the face of the earth (Num. 12:3), a forerunner of Christ.

Why would anyone be raising sheep or cattle?

There will be no death in the earth made new, no slaughterhouses.

We are told there will be no butchers either.

Check out the last few chapters of Ezekiel that describe the plans for a temple, the Last Days Temple, I believe. The plans include areas for slaughtering, butchering, roasting, and boiling animals and other foods, an area for baking, and an area for dining. One might call this the Temple Restaurant. This restaurant is reserved for those who will be working in the temple complex.

This Temple is also mentioned in the prophecies of Daniel. Although contrary to the theories of the Founding Fathers and Mother, I believe this temple will exist on Earth during the 1K years, and will be brought here, rather than built here. During this time, the whole world will submit to the just rule of the LORD of Earth. This is the time for the real baptism, for wrongs to be righted, and for those who had little or lost everything in their previous life to be rewarded.

There will need to be some way to co-ordinate joint efforts, when more than one person must join together to accomplish some great task. Ellen G. White said in the concluding paragraphs of The Great Controversy, (p. 677)...

The Redeemed of earth will be able to call upon virtually infinite resources, so wealth of materials and sources of energy would be unlimited. The main thing that will need to be spent is personal attention and effort. Imagine if a few thousand of the Redeemed decide they want to build a Dyson sphere (no, not a vaccuum cleaner! :) ) around some star. Or compile a catalog of all the billions of stars in space, and design a starship to house the survey crew. How would such an effort be co-ordinated for such monumental tasks?

There would have to be some kind of economy. Maybe not based on money, but there would have to be some way to maintain an orderly account of who is committed to helping whom to do what.

Interesting thoughts Ron and by the way good to see you are still around, haven't seen you posting for a while.

By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}

Thanks, pkrause. I've been working on a novel. Have about 49,000 words done so far. I don't really want to discuss it until it is done.

By the way, can you tell me why my smiley did not print as a smiley? :)

Because they don't... You need the correct UBB code to make it come out correctly. You can either click on the smiley face option to the text box before posting to find a suitable one or hold your cursor over the emoticon you want and the code should appear.

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
