Neil D
Quote: British and U.S. officials have told Time that police have not yet found any forensic link between the July 7 and July 21 suspects: no phone calls, documents or other evidence tying the two groups together. Moreover, contrary to earlier speculation, the bombs used in the attacks came from different mixtures of home-made explosive, according to a British official. That means either that the same "chemist" made two different batches, or that more than one chemist was at work, and may still be on the loose. Looks like it aint over yet, folks. Dr. Shane
Isn't it odd that the first bombs actually went off and the second ones didn't? Normally they mess up the first time and get it right the second. Unless they are two different groups. They just need to send those bombers to Gitmo and we'll get the truth out of them. <img src="/ubbtreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Amelia
No they messed up the first time. Apparently it was only the priming caps that exploded. Thats why the bombers were alive to be caught. If the actually bombs had gone off, there would be no bombers. Dr. Shane
The first time was July 7 and the bombs did go off. The second time was July 21 and the bombs didn't go off. Kind of makes one think it was two different groups and the second group didn't quite understand how to make a bomb blow up. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... bevin
One report I saw said the bomb's chemical was unstable and had degraded by the time the second attempt was made. http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/london_bombing/homemade_bombs.html /Bevin
