Genevieve "Jenny" Stubblefield Watts, 68, of Charles Town, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, in the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born Dec. 2, 1944, in Huntington, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William Henry Stubblefield and Sarah Lou Thomas Stubblefield.

She was a member of the Charles Town Seventh Day Adventist Church. She worked as a social worker for the state of Michigan. She was a warm, caring and loving mother who was passionate about her church and her family. She volunteered at both the Ranson and South Jefferson elementary schools.

She is survived by three sons, William "Billy" Stubblefield, of Huntington, W.Va., Leroy Lawrence Jr. and wife Chante, of Hampton, Va., and Stephen Lawrence at home; three brothers, Cornell Stubblefield and wife Valerie, Willie Fred Stubblefield and Gary Stubblefield and wife Renee, all of Huntington, W.Va.; one sister, Alta Mae Stubblefield, of South Holland, Ill.; five grandchildren, VonCaira, William II, Jovahn, Devin and Nya and one great-grandchild, LaKyra.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Winfred G. Stubblefield.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at Charles Town Seventh Day Adventist Church with the Pastor Jason Disch officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church prior to services.

Arrangements are by the Jefferson Chapel.
