Virginia Pauline Moyer, 87, of Columbus, Miss., died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Healthcare-Golden Triangle in Columbus.

A graveside memorial service will be Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Hagerstown, Md., with the Rev. Tim Crosby officiating.

The daughter of the late Joseph Edgar and Hazel Lumm Hartle, Mrs. Moyer was born July 7, 1925, in Takoma Park, Md.

She was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Williamsport Nursing Home in Williamsport, Md., for 25 years.

She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She moved to Columbus in 1977, and retired after 10 years of employment with Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Harold, Glenn, David, Donald and Stewart Hartle; two sisters, Wilda Biser and Connie Huffman; and her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Harold Hill.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Judy Moyer of Lake Mary, Fla., and John W. and Roberta Moyer of Conway, S.C.; and her brother and sister-in-law, Wilbur and Shirley Hartle of Caledonia, Miss. She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
