Miss Jessie
I want to start by praising God for giving me hope in the midst of all this trouble... These past few weeks have been like a nightmare-dark, difficult, hard to believe and nearly impossible to accept. Much, if not most (or all) of it, I believe I brought upon myself. Please pray for me. For my situation, for my future, for my family. I need love in my life. Please pray for love. I need victory over my sins. Please pray for me... Administrators Gail Posted March 17, 2014 Administrators Share Posted March 17, 2014 Miss Jessie, you and me both. I would like to reassure you that you are loved. God will not forsake you. He will take you from right where you are in your spiritual life and begin anew each day (and sometimes more than once every day). I don't know if you desire God's love to comfort you personally or if you would like His loving spirit working through you to others. But Jesus has promised to abide in you through the avenue of His Holy Spirit, the Comforter. Lord in Heaven, I thank You for Your child Miss Jessie. I don't know much about her struggle other than what she has mentioned here, but Jesus said that those who are poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. We believe You in this, and for Jesus to mention it we know that You care about the subject. Father, Jesus also told us that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness would be filled... I intercede on behalf of Miss Jessie with faith in this promise simply because Jesus said it and we know it to true because He said it. I thank You for Your care for her and that You will help her. In Jesus precious name- amen :) Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. LifeHiscost
Miss Jessie, I'm satisfied that each of us whoDohave a daily walk with Jesus, are beholden to individuals who prayed for them long before they knew they needed the prayers of others. You have so many who have accepted the privilege of praying for your needs, there is no doubt in my mind you have every right, granted by Jesus, to claim these promises for yourself. "“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven."Matthew 18:19 NASB "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.Matthew 21:22 KJV God bless! Miss Jessie
Thank you, everyone, for your prayers. I still need them, but God has been answering in wonderful ways, including sending His love. I need God's love to control me, speak through me, keep me calm and from becoming bloated with self, fear, anger, etc...Praise God. I'll pray for you also, Gail. Members phkrause
Will add you to our prayer list Miss Jessie Quote phkrause By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}
