Sojourner
In Israel the 27th of April is Holocaust Memorial day and is observed by the nation. What I wondered is if the Administration of the Seventh Day Adventist church acknowledge this day and observe it also in recognition of the many Seventh Day Adventist people who also died with those Jewish people in the Holocaust for no other reason than that they were Seventh Day Adventists? http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/179965
Members phkrause
I don't think so, I've never heard anyone talk about this at all. All of my father's family except for one brother died in the holocaust. My father spent 5 years in 3 different concentration camps. Quote phkrause By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}
