In the 27 years of Global Climate Change efforts, there have been several worldwide conferences and accords: The 1992 Rio Earth Summit The 1995 Kyoto Protocol The 2007 Bali Action Plan The 2009 Copenhagen Accord The 2015 Paris Accord All of these "accords" came up with wonderful plans and promises to save the environment. Putting millions of tons of pollutants in the atmosphere to get the participants to these accords and back. How many of these plans were implemented and promises kept? Very few if any. I predict the results of this conference will be like the previous ones - lots of hoopla, lots of grand-standing, lots of big plans and promises - with no follow-up.
