Woody
What is the process for removing the name of the deceased from the membership roles here? On the contrary .... it does bring back good memories of when they were alive. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology. aka
Would that mean all the deceased's messages would get deleted? I would indeed miss coming across Doug Meister's messages when viewing really old threads. I still get a grin and snorkle while rereading some of his obnoxious audacities that emitted through his colorful typing talent.
Members rudywoofs (Pam)
I don't see any point in removing the names of deceased members.. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Woody
I do believe I said from the 'membership roles'. Since they are dead .... they are no longer a member in my book. They are asleep in the grave. They no not anything. To be a member here .... one ought to know something. Or is knowing something a requirement for membership? Will have to check on that one. Nothing wrong with maintaining their comments. When they made the comments .... they knew something I assume. We maintain the comments of banned folk. So - yes .... let's maintain the comments of the dead.; Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology. Administrators Gail Posted September 22, 2014 Administrators Share Posted September 22, 2014 I like keeping them around. It's like a fond reminder. Woody
Good one Gail. I wish the Church Books had the same policy. It's good to remember the dead.
