whbae
Catholics claim they are the true continuation of apostle Pete. Throughout the world history, when they talk about christianity it was commonly referred to Catholic church. Majority of art works are expression of that of Catholic belief. So, when and where the protestants originate? Catholics claim Peter formed their church, what about the rest of the apostles, did they have any church? Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted April 1, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 1, 2015 Protestantism developed with Martin Luther and certain other reformers who lived about the same time. NOTE: I do not mean that he was the first.. Quote Gregory
whbae
Yes, I thought the protestants started with Martin Luther, so was the Catholic church only one ever since the disciples gone? Didn't any one of 12 establish any kind of church?
whbae
Those followers, where did they meet? Wasn't there any organized group and place to meet? When one looks at the Medieval history it seems every thing is centered around the Catholic church(Vatican), the arts, music, and every day life, etc.
