Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted November 8, 2015 Members Posted November 8, 2015 Church records can sometimes give interesting information on ancestors... I happened across this record from the 1890s records of the Grace United Methodist Church in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. Not my family, but take a gander at Line 29, "Elmer E Riegle".... Naomi 1 Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Aliensanctuary Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Alas, poor Elmer, stricken from the church rolls. Either women, strong drink, or gambling, made him wrong. Quote The Parable of the Lamb and the Pigpen https://www.createspace.com/3401451
