Members phkrause
Is this the church that John Carter is the Pastor?? Quote phkrause By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}

Members phkrause
Oh, OK, thank you! When I watch his "Carter Report" show, it seems that its from the Glendale church, but obviously I'm in error! carole1012
Thanks, Stan. Every time I have called his church for a concert in the last few years, it has been in the Pasadena area. Did you hear that they are going to a new church in Pasadena? Thanks for letting me know.

He was a wonderful man and a great conference president. I worked with him on several committees over a period of several years. He always trusted God, and prayed earnestly both in the committee meetings and in his private devotions. That conference has had some big financial crises, but Larry always trusted that "this is God's work; He will see it through." And God always did -- not always in the way we'd hoped, but always in a good result for the conference. I couldn't believe how wasted he became at the end; the photos shown of him proved that the cancer had consumed his body. It had been only eight months since I last saw him; I was shocked. But even so, he smiled for all the photos. Quote Jeannie

...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....
