Old photos are great... It's always interesting to see what our ancestors looked like — and to see if we resemble any of them.

The people in the 19th century photos usually appear very sober — that was generally because they had to hold still for so long in order to get a good exposure.  Sometimes, though, photos surface that show the personalities of the subjects:
