Moderators Kevin H Posted October 29, 2016 Author Moderators Share Posted October 29, 2016 My big memory of him was once I sat in one of his Sabbath school classes and as I remembered it he said that the Catholic church had intercession as man to the priest to the saints to Mary to Jesus to the Father. That the reformation took this same basic framework only took out the middle-men, having man to Jesus to the Father. Meanwhile the Bible has intercession going the other direction: The Father through Jesus through the angels and church to the people in the world. While I sort of had this in the back of my head, what he said made it more central to my understanding. I hope I'm not misrepresenting what he said. Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted October 29, 2016 Moderators Share Posted October 29, 2016 Raoul Dederen was a Biblically based theologian who will very much be missed. He made a large contribution to the development of many people, including me. phkrause and Kevin H 2 Quote Gregory
