Administrators Gail Posted November 12, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 12, 2016 Wow! What an exciting book! Joseph Bates, who I think was the most instrumental founder of the Seventh-Day Adventist church, was by vocation a sailor then sea captain in the early 1800s. During this time he had many harrowing, life and death experiences. debbym 1 Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. Administrators Gail Posted November 12, 2016 Author Administrators Share Posted November 12, 2016 It has been around for a long time. It was a series of installments in the Youth's Instructor that finished in 1863, according to Bates in the preface. Those were the days when life was pretty raw and death was commonly dealt with in an everyday manner.
