“The Christian worldview posits that humans are naturally inclined to be god (amassing power, wealth, influence, control, success, etc.) but not inclined to be godly (“God is Love”). This was Adam and Eve’s sin, and we have lived in their image. This is the natural human project.
The gospel says that the path to god-ness (power and wealth and influence) is to be Godly. This is to enter life by the front door.” 

Matthew J. Lucio is in Boston and today he is presenting his research on Luther and Loyola.
