Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted February 1, 2018 Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2018 I do not want to discount the love and power of God. But, I am reminded that in many areas of life, God works through sources other than the Bible. Even religious/Godly people may need to seek help from those additional sources. Sometimes surgery is the answer. I know a person who has some 20 pieces of metal in one of her legs. God did not mend that leg beyond what the surgeon was able to do. There are a market basket of defined illnesses that have some level of depression in their etiology. For some of these, we must seek help from other sources if we can resonably expect healing. What may work in one situation may not work in another. With depression, there is no one cure that fits all. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory

Outta Here
Why would anyone assume that some might counter "but God enabled the surgeon" with their nose in the air? Is it wrong to be aware that God enabled each of us with our own special gifts? phkrause
