Members rudywoofs (Pam)
there's no proof that St. Patrick was a Sabbath-keeper.. some have presented that idea as a theory, but clearly it's not been proven... GayatfootofCross 1 Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Gustave
Yes, its incorrect that Saint Patrick was a Sabbath keeper. There is a 7th century historian who wrote that Saint Patrick would be visited by God every Saturday (Sabbath). Important to remember that at the time of Saint Patrick and after the Celtic Church was more Eastern (Orthodox) than Western (Catholic) and there is a tradition around Sabbath (Saturday). In the case of some Orthodox communities Saturday (Sabbath) is still observed to this day and the day after that "The Lord's Day" (Sunday) is observed and between the two days if one is missed it should be Sabbath. While one finds in history Christians observing Saturday you don't see that practice to the exclusion of The Lord's Day (Sunday).
