Two points:

1. The land beast is not an Adventist symbol, it is a symbol of a political power. Until some crazy madman somewhere in the world with nuclear weapons flattens the USA, it will still be a force to deal with in the world. So, yeah, the land beast as America stills holds. It is largely an already fulfilled prophecy needing only to finish that speaking like a dragon bit.

2. There were some Bible prophecies fulfilled on the continental US. Given the times in history of the spread of the gospel, the Christian faith thru many Bible societies and churches, in addition to the Adventist church, were founded and grew from USA groups. Probably the mass of the missionaries over the last 200 years have come from the US.

This article just seems like one more attempt to re-write the understanding of the Bible.
