Here we go again and it is so sad. This man Steele feel justified to say we are free? He is the one that have been submerge in ignorance. Just because he is Black, you think he can claim we don't know how to live free! I cannot believe that any person would want to use this man's writing. Well it is not true and all of you that believe this nonsense, walk a mile in a Black's man shoe. Over and over you try to justify "chattel slavery," and I am so tired of it. Yes, a few of us have rose above poverty, but not above racism. The sad thing you either don't want to see it or just refuse too! 

Then to say; "But it's falling flat (like the NFL players refusing to stand) because most folks no longer believe there is anything to demonstrate about." Stand for what? So because being Black and didn't stand they were not Americans-really? Who made you think you have the right to know what a person should do at a football game? Because they were kneeling for a cause that is apparently none of you would never understand, to even make this kind of statement. How many of you fear that your son will die for no reason? Because he look like he was reaching for a gun?  You have no idea what it like or you would not mention something so degrading and undeserving. The Bible say to love your neighbor and it shows who do not with this statement. I would suggest to you all to read a book named, "Black Like Me," by John Howard Griffin a true Black brother. Guess what he was White!!!! He did a very brave thing, he became Black and experience the suffering and saw the problems and humiliation, the cruelty, suffering, and despair. That is because he himself went through it and wrote it in his book. Learn how he became Black, it is fascinating and a real life story! After writing the book, Griffin had to move his family to Mexico due to threat on their lives. They did return home sometime later and later on he died. If he was alive today, he would be kneeling with the NFL players because he did walk a mile in a Black's man shoe!

I am glad that some of the NFL owners are not listening to Trump and his racist remark. Kneeling is for a reason of justice and has nothing to do with a flag!!!!!!! It has to with the freedom of expression, which proves that Steele did not know what he was talking about. That is freedom! That does not mean that the sin of racism is not alive, it is and it is ugly. I just cannot get over that people feel that they have a right to tell a person how they should speak out about justice. It is the same thing that Session did when he quoted the Bible to justify mistreating people from South America, taking their children from them. Treating them too like they did my ancestors, like animals!!!! My people were branded, naked, touch indecently, raped, separated them for their children, beaten, lynch, burned on and on. We are just suppose to forget? I cannot forget how YAHSHUA was treated can you??? I also cannot forget that a lovely White Woman from Chicago, who left her children; to come to the South, to protest with the Blacks. She felt our pain and for that she was murdered by White men! She came  during the Civil Right Movement when I was just a teenager. My parents had left the South and moved to Connecticut, when I was five! Racism is in the Bible and YAHWEH showed very clearly, HE was not going to allow it! Miriam became a leper and she learned that Zipporah was not to be disrespected because she was a Kushite!  We all really need prayer! I will say many who claim to know THE MOST HIGH, do not understand what racism truly is and that is sad! When or if you ever do you, then you will understand my pain, my anguish, my pride, my love, my freedom and my blackness like Mr. Griffin!

Wow! I have been on this earth for 68 years and have always wanted people to vote their choice. I am a white guy, so I have a hard time connecting with your racial sensitivity.  I understand that African Americans have to be more racially sensitive that us Caucasians because of the underlying racial prejudice that exists in our country as well as your history.  But from my viewpoint (as an old guy), much progress has been made (as a culture) over the past 50 years.  Mixed=race couples used to be an "abomination"; now they are freely accepted and barely noticed in today's society.  African Americans hold vastly more influential government and corporate positions than they used to hold.  There are multiple times more influential black professionals than there were even 25 years ago.

Yes - there is still underlying racial prejudice all over this country; but I believe it is the minority fringe lunatic segment of the population that is propagating it.  White society in general  accepts African Americans as equals - at least I think I do.

But what do I know; I'm a white guy looking at things from my perspective.

Just like you would resent being portrayed as just another "uppity Negro", please don't paint all of us Caucasians as ignorant racists, which I sometimes feel you are doing.  Isn't that racist in itself?  Rachel is one of the least "racist" people I know (and I've know her for over 25 years), so please don't present her as an ignorant racist.

And there thousands (perhaps millions) of blacks and browns expanding the ranks of GOP supporters, because they like the economics of capitalism, they want constitutionally conservative judges, and they support a strong military.  And they do NOT support socialism - income redistribution (by the government), Medicare for all, a guaranteed income for all, or free college education for all.   Folks who want this, would rather see everyone's standard of living LOW, than see some folks have more.   

One of my best friends is a fellow Nurse Anesthetist who just happens to be black.

Many of us are mixed anyways because we never had a choice! It has never been a problem for anyone to married any one that find to be compatible. Whites had that problem not the majority of us. That in itself it racist because we to have affirmative action to receive equality, instead on qualification and not the color of our skin. Santorini was a part of the Crete Minoan civilization and the massive volcanic eruption devastated the island. The Minoan civilization disappeared and the Philistines were soon seen on the shore of Egypt. They were pushed into Palestine where actually some already lives and the land of Canaan was changed to be called the land of the Philistines/Palestine! Abimelech king of Gerar were Philistines and were called a righteous nation. Gen Chapter 20 

Canaan was not an homosexual as projected by White religious, Biblical scholar for a long time and even still today. His brothers were right outside the tent and he told his brothers. They came in and covered him and Noah woke up and curse Canaan, not Ham. Why? Ham had others sons but the Bible specifically call Canaan's name. It appear that Canaan saw his grandfather naked as well and was not respectful. Noah saw something disrespectful in Canaan. His brothers were respectful and Canaan would never ruled them, that was mention first. He would be servant of servant to them and not slaves! He also would be servant only of his uncles! Lastly Canaan had many blessings as well. Melchizedek, Rahab, the Amorites, Ruth, Hiram king of Tyre. 

The SDA Bible Commentary recognize the intimate relation between the Hebrews and Ham's children. Finally, it has been realize as well that the Hebrew or Semitic languages come from the Afrikan languages. The facts remain all truth of nationalities should be provided correctly that is in the Bible.

I guess you have not read mine comments completely because I praise Whites from setting us free from slavery. Even stated how they gave their lives for me to be free. I also said I hope to meet them in Heaven. I asked have any read Mr. Griffin's book: "Black Like Me," who is White and is my true Black brother! See why! Constantly thinking about the White woman who gave up her life to protest in the Civil Right Movement. She just stays on my mind, but there were many who stood by us then and still today. That is always the excuse when you don't see the bigger picture. You don't think I don't know this? We having been organizing and working on this for so many years. We all should do the same for the poor and to defend the rights of mankind. However, it should always lead people to obey YAHWEH'S Law. That what I done in my nonprofit Organization. I helped the poor, the elderly, youth, homosexual, drunker, homeless, people on drugs or anyone that needed help. I then first took care of their needs and then pointed them to the truth. It worked! Some were baptize and some did not! All I know is I did what I could and always kept to YAHWEH'S Law in feeding them, aiding them, ministering to their needs. I had a staff of different Christians, but they knew the principles of the nonprofit organization I created. I wrote the grants and both the board and staff respected my faith and it change some of them! It can be done if you ask YAHWEH to help you keep HIS Law in everything you do!

Yes.  There are isolated pockets of racial prejudice in the US.   But it's not as rampant as you would have us believe.   Just like there are pockets of great sin - of one kind or another.  (There always have been, and always will be.)   There are pockets of poverty (many associated with drugs, gangs and children living without fathers in the home).   Every pocket of poverty is NOT black.  

Those who demonstrate - especially with damage to community businesses - defeat their own purpose.  They CREATE fear and prejudice.  They are like terrorists who think they can win through intimidation.

I agree with everything you said but the "pocket" and being "isolated." It happen at the borders, at games, at churches, people homes, in parks. Blacks in the Bible mixed with the Hebrews but they were not Hebrews from Ebner! Some Black have married White Women just to have and mistreat them-that's racist prejudice and bias. Blacks have downgraded their own brothers and sisters, think they are superior! Blacks who educated in my field of study have gone overboard, they too try to claim empires that were not theirs. Yes this happens, but it not the majority and it is a strike back from being struck and put down so long. Does it make it right NO! I do not live in a Black world, I live in a mankind world and calling out for justice for all! "When they go low, we go high," no matter who is wrong, racist, prejudice or bias!!!!

If you read the Bible it was not a major problem back then. This begin in the Late Middle Ages. Earlier the Europeans would come to learn at Timbuktu University in Afrika! Thanks, but I still don't want to give people something that has been altered or changed. It was not the truth and if I going to stand for truth, I can't present anything that has been changed. The Bible says you must understand the above:

a.      There shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. ( 30 literal days attach to the 3 ½ years is 3 year 7 months)

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Mat 24:29 

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. Rev 7:16 

Read all of Rev Chapter 16, this show clearly that these plagues will fall on the beast and those who worship his image and have his mark, then all the wicked which will include those who are in Babylon and is following the papacy.

Trump nor the supreme court will stop the fulfillment of the prophecies!
