Just read on Facebook that Lynyrd Skynyrd;s Ed King, after leaving the group,, eventually became a Seventh-day Adventist and gave a weekend program at Union Springs Academy in the 1980s. A grandson of the man who was his friend had influenced him to accept Christ and join the church,, was working to make arrangements for the visit. He was hoping that it could be a whole week of prayer but the conference office wrote back saying that he would not be able to give a full week of prayer but could give the weekend.  He went on tour with some of the reunion programs but continued to live a Godly lifestyle.
