Ford and her lawyers refused to say whether HYPNOSIS was used to "recover" her "repressed memories" of the attack.   Memories retrieved by use of HYPNOSIS have long been excluded from use as court testimony, because the use of HYPNOSIS commonly entrails images more recently seen by the HYPNOTIZED person - images from the news, TV, etc.

I studied a lot about hypnotism as part of my master's program in Counseling Services, at Webster in Albuquerque.  At that time I was thinking about working with law enforcement as a specialist in the field of sex crimes against young women.  I got into it because I was teaching the youth at Sabbath School, and too frequently a young woman would approach me to talk about sexual abuse.  I did finish my master's, but decided to stick with nurse anesthesia.  That was more cut-and-dried, and my own emotional maturity was not ready to deal constantly with the terrible emotional drain of sex crimes.

Marjie Lewis

Written by a Female Physician who was wild in college. "This is not Justice. This is Wrong... I was immersed in the party scene in college. I drank to excess. I had black out nights. I WAS GROPED AT FRAT PARTIES. If advances were unwanted I pushed the person away and set personal boundaries. I chose to be a part of the party scene. Because of this I had fun and I have regrets. I HAVE BEEN ASSAULTED AND NOT RAPED. I could replay a scenario like Christine Ford described as very similar to things that happened when excessive drinking occurred in my own experiences.
At the age of 25, I settled down and now my idea of excitement is Netflix and yoga pants. If any of my current patients saw my behavior back then, I could understand why they wouldn’t want me to care for them.
I feel like being a physician is every bit as important as being a Supreme Court Justice. The decisions we make over the span of our careers could change the lives of thousands of people and their descendants for years to come. The same can be said for the Supreme Court or any other political office held. The thing is, poor choices in the past does not, and should not disqualify them. I chugged bankers club whiskey in a cornfield and peed behind a dumpster 25 years ago. But Friday I used tiny instruments to remove infected bony partitions from the ethmoid sinus a few millimeters away from the brain. Should I have a right to operate on humans despite my past? You are damn right I do. You know why? Because I spent 20 years educating myself and sacrificing countless hours to get there. I gave up so much to be good at what I do, to be confident enough in myself to put myself out there to care for people who put their lives in my hands. My hands are capable in spite of my weaknesses of the past.
Character is built partially on learning from mistakes. Brett Kavanaugh has devoted his life to public service and the past 20 years of his life is the definition of integrity. He deserves this appointment.
I AM AGAINST THE WEAPONIZATION OF VICTIMHOOD. Believing unequivocally the woman is right every single time no matter what is giving women power to take out anyone in their path. That is not equality. This radical position is not the answer to gender discrimination and victims rights.
No one can even place Brett Kavanaugh and  Christine Ford IN THE SAME ROOM at a party that zero people recollect except for the woman making the accusations.
If every single woman must be believed every single time, we all know there will be circumstances by which someone will use this power for selfish reasons. It sets women back so far. This is not breaking the glass ceiling. THIS IS NOT JUSTICE. THIS IS WRONG.

Georgetown professor calls for white male Republican senators to suffer ‘miserable deaths’ and be castrated

https://www.thecollegefix.com/georgetown-professor-calls-for-white-male-republican-senators-to-suffer-miserable-deaths-and-be-castrated/

You get these radical feminists wanting to start "toxic masculinity" training in kindergarten, along with others who want to teach LGBTQ+ with transvestite dancing in from of these little kids and then you get the second article where another radical feminist wants her own evil actions on men in a seriously disturbed perverted fashion. I suspect the problem is "toxic femininity"! Unfortunately, I suspect that this very spirit is also creeping into the SDA church.

It doesn't matter how many supporters they have; what matters is how many collaborating witnesses they have.  Ford has zero.

It was reported that Ford said after the assault (presumably in 1982) she called someone (she can't remember who) on her cell phone for a ride home.  Funny; cell phones weren't available to the general public until 1983.  They were the size of a large brick, weighed over 3 pounds, and cost over $3,500.  How could a 15 year-old afford one; and where would she keep it?  Why hasn't anyone in the media brought this up?

This isn't just "he said she said".  This is about credibility.  No one has provided collaborating evidence or eye witnesses to support Dr. Ford's allegations - including the "witnesses Dr Ford named.  Judge Kavanaugh has provided piles of collaborating evidence and numerous witnesses to support his claims.

I guess we'll have to see what the FBI report says.

What I noticed most of all:

The Republicans on the Committee were respectful - of BOTH Ford and Kavanaugh.

The Democrats were not respectful of a long serving federal judge.  They acted like school-boy bullies!

Good thing they believed Carolyn Donham! He was lynched because of a lie.

Remember Emmett Till? He was accused of sexually harassing Carolyn Donham. Her lie led to his unimaginable death. An open casket revealed the putrid nature of a lie, of hatred, of believing a “survivor” over the self-evident truth.

OK BW, I see where you are coming from; however, what concerns me is that all this chatter about #mentoo (my own tag) is starting to mis-characterize the many women who do suffer abuse, assault, and worse.

We cannot fall into the equally criminal deception of shaming women who have been injured or killed by men to appease or accommodate  others who have lied and made false charges.

Well, ... if so many women weren't making false allegations against men and generally displaying a hateful attitude toward men, would we be having a problem believing those who are "really" abused? That is a fear that those who engage in deceptions like Ford's will result in real victims of violence not being believed. This is one solid reason why women should be very upset about Ford and not continue with that bleating "believe the victim" cry!

And as far as that "equally criminal deception" about shaming women who have been injured/killed by men, do keep in mind that almost as many men endure abuse including death at the hands of women. Unfortunately, the church's "End It Now" campaign does little to get the idea across that violence is an equal opportunity evil in today's society. And when Christian organizations promote one sided arguments, they are also promoting error, also known as a lie.

Truthfully, I do not want to see anyone abused, either at the hands of one person thru violence or at the hands of the legal/public opinion court responding to lies.

(Slo far the FBI has found nothing corroborating Ford - breaking story!)

Former Supreme Court Justice Stevens Says Kavanaugh Shouldn't Be Confirmed

Read Newsmax: Retired Justice Stevens: Kavanaugh's Temperament Disqualifies Him | Newsmax.com

phkrause

By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}

**pffftttt**

Stevens should look back at his *own* confirmation hearings.  He wasn't exactly a beloved-by-women candidate.  From the Dec 9, 1975, Salisbury, Maryland, Daily Times:

In recent news, most networks are conceding that Kavanaugh will be confirmed on Saturday by 1 or 2 votes.  Thank God truth and justice may prevail.  Have any of you seen this?

So, where have I heard the name "Fusion GPS" before?! Just seems to be more deep state activities against Donald Trump and any appointees they are against.

I have also read this stuff on other websites other than Michael Savage's.

It would be interesting to put every one of those democrats on the hook for the way they were in high school.

It was Kavanaugh's reaction's at this event this that exposed him, not her accusations.  I read some doctor's rant about all the wild things she did as a college student then said should i not be allowed to practice now because of those things?  She was in defense of the judge. The difference is that doctor was perfectly honest about everything she did.

Kavanaugh historically holds the position that no president can be indited  while in office.  This may have lead him to be a preferred choice for the President. He undermines public education and has been an arm to serve the interests of right wing fundamentalist. He indeed reflects the current dominant GOP politics.  He is  politically emotionally loaded, and truly partisan.  He cannot be expected to be impartial or neutral in his judicial decisions.  This is actually non professional as a Supreme Court Judge.

He never presided over a court as judge until appointed by Bush in 2006.  In this respect he is not an experienced Judge and was never elected or chosen by legal peers.

and you base your *facts* on what?  That he "finally* gave an emotional rebuttal after being harassed and accused and bullied for weeks and weeks and weeks by Democrat mudslingers of the 1st order — both in congress and in the media?

It's all in what you choose to believe about a person.  And, apparently, you choose to believe the worst about a person.

Judges, even Supreme Court judges, are not God.  None of them are perfect.  None of them are without partisanship in one manner or another.  Expecting God-like qualities from *anyone* as a prerequisite of fitness is nonsense.  Nay, it's more than nonsense.... it's juvenile whining from adults who are apparently unable to understand that life is neither fair nor perfect.

Just makes me sick the way Democrats are treating Kavanaugh and the Congressmen (and others) who support him.  It's absolutely shameful.  And the [mostly] female bullies yelling and shouting and making total a$$es of themselves by getting in the faces of those with whom they disagree are doing nothing to further the cause of abused women and men in society.  They've turned it into a *political* issue, when it indeed is not.

Have you or anyone close to you ever been accused and basically convicted publically of something as serious as rape or attempted rape?  Totally innocent but judged guilty by many without one shred of proof?  Your career/ livelihood ,destroyed. Your reputation in tatters, your family ostracized ,  everything you have worked for  30 years at risk?  Based only on the word of one that has serious gaps in credible accusations?  If the answer is yes, did you remain calm and reasonable at all times, never stressed to the max as you tried to defend yourself?

The difference is that doctor was perfectly honest about everything she did.

And you know Kavanaugh was not perfectly honest about what he did HOW?
