Texas has its own electrical grid, separate from the rest of the United States. The primary reason for this is to avoid federal regulations — the Electric Reliability Council of Texas manages the grid and is not subject to federal oversight because it doesn't cross state lines.

The only difference between a typhoon and a cyclone is the location of the storm. In the Atlantic and Northeast Pacific, the event is a hurricane. In the Northwest Pacific, it is called a typhoon, and in the south Pacific and Indian Ocean, it is a cyclone.

So what really makes up a single Reese's Piece? Well, according to Delish, chocolate company Hershey's developed a formula in the 1970s for sweetened peanut meal with the same consistency as chocolate. The filling is essentially a peanut-flavored fudge made from brown sugar, butter and milk.

Historians have no record of turkey being eaten at the first Thanksgiving.

The first Thanksgiving Day feast happened in 1621 with three whole days dedicated to the celebration. Although turkey was plentiful in the region and a common food source, it's likely that it wasn't actually the star of the festivities and other "fowling" were served for the occasion. Instead, "ducks, geese, and swans" are believed to have been served to the English settlers and Native Americans.
