The ruling of the court was to the effect that a person could not be required to author a message that the person did not believe. The is a correct ruling under the idea that each of us has the freedom to speak what we believe. That ruling did not address the issue as to whether or not a printer could refuse to print a wedding invitation that had been authored by someone else.
