Stan
On October 6, 2020, the United States Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case on the issue of whether individual FBI agents can be held financially liable if they are found to have violated the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted October 15, 2020 Moderators Share Posted October 15, 2020 The Seventh-day Adventist Church has applied for a Writ of Certiorari in this case. Its position may be found in the following 26 page document: NOTE: I agree with Stan's statement that the Supreme court is not likely to rule that individual FBI Agents should be held financially liable. https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/19/19-71/132865/20200212161108085_General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Amicus ISO Respondents.pdf I have not had the time to fully digest the above 26 page legal document. However, I am tending to think that the Court should not hold those FBI Agents financially liable. Quote Gregory
