Stan
GENERALLY, and you can confirm this was a lot of Pastors.. Never support the Church financially of any significants. at Triannuals, or Conference Sessions..... same thing. They make noise, but the heart is too often shown by the wallet... cricket
Perhaps the financial support isn't there because their opinions aren't being addressed? Also, no one but the Pastor and the Church Treasurer should know who is or isn't paying tithe and offerings.
Stan
true no one else should know or needs to know... There is a parallel on this forum, other than those who are in a tough situations, those who were given free access were the biggest pain in the neck... charging reduced that dramatically. We have always provided for those in developing countries and others who requested.. most of the time.. Stan
There is something about financially supporting a group that blesses people in many ways. Hard to explain.. cricket
I agree. There are those who do not financially support the church, however, because they do not feel that the church is a blessing to others. Those people send their money to the United Way, the American Red Cross, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the Salvation Army, et cetera. I am of the personal opinion that all members of the church board should be vocal. All should support the efforts of the board once a majority decision is made--financial support and otherwise. Likewise, members of any board should support their cause.
