Andy Beshear and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg are also seen as prospective running mates. On Monday, North Carolina Gov. Harris' decision on a running mate could come within a week, two people familiar with the matter said, with her goal to make an announcement before August 7. The Democratic contest to be Harris’ running mate will likely be decided in the next week AMBLER, Pa. (AP) — Democrat Josh Shapiro had a dual message for enthusiastic voters in suburban Philadelphia this week, telling them Kamala Harris belongs in the White House — and then reminding them of all he’s done as governor of battleground Pennsylvania. stinsonmarri
Trump is not happy with two-face Vance, who supported Project 2025! The Heritage got on their proud horse and, like Satan, boasting will make you fall like Humpty Dumpty! It came out too soon and showed exactly what they were up to! They showed that they wanted to force people to serve their god, Satan! It doesn't have to be a Sunday law; just putting up the Commandments will hit other religions who are not so-called Christians. Then the Heritage President said there won't be a blood bath if you obey. It sounds just like Trump! Stating racial remarks like "immigrants are taking black people's jobs." What are black people's jobs? He took children from their parents when he was in office! The Bible warned the faithful that Satan would be on the warpath and that it would appear that he would deceive the elect! So, we must put on the whole armor of YAHWEH! That means we must be prepared. Studying the Bible must be our priority like never before. We must not follow the norm the Bible warned against. Straight and narrow, giving the following: yes, what we are taught is true. Look at the crowd of young people in Atlanta last night; they turned thousands away! These people want to move forward. It saddens me how Trump showed openly how he hates black people, and yet some have blinders on and follow him. Project 2025 shows what we are up against Satan's rage! We remember behind the scenes, it is Satan who, after all, is like a hungry roaring lion seeking whom he can devour! He had the church believe it would the papacy but surprise it is not. What other lies has he told that are not true? Please read Testimony to the Minister, and you will be surprised what she warns us about the errors our church has made. She said we must not ignore these errors despite what minister we admire. My message to Trump: you are up against YAHWEH and HIS armies of angels! This is the first time I have seen something like this. I thought Obama had changed the tide; yes, it was a miracle. But, this is different with Harris. It happened overnight, and the people were so excited that Zoom meetings broke records. Hundreds of thousands want to volunteer and give donations. Trump did not expect it, and neither did Satan! We who know about the one who is behind the scenes be ready to be sealed. IsraEL is not the Hebrews but what was told them. MY House is a House of Prayer for all people! Members phkrause
Donald Trump says Kamala Harris, who’s married to a Jewish man, ‘doesn’t like Jewish people’ Donald Trump, in an interview on Tuesday, claimed Vice President Kamala Harris looked uncomfortable while meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying: “No. 1, she doesn’t like Israel. No. 2, she doesn’t like Jewish people." He also seemed to agree with a radio host who called second gentleman Doug Emhoff “a crappy Jew.” Read more. Why this matters: Trump has tried to capitalize on divisions in the Democratic Party over the Israel-Hamas war and sought to paint his political opponents as antisemitic. With Harris replacing President Joe Biden as the likely Democratic presidential nominee, Trump has escalated his attacks on her. Trump made a similar claim about Harris disliking Jewish people on Friday while speaking to a Christian group at a Turning Point USA gathering. He has also ignited blowback in the past for making similar remarks about Jewish people, like when he said in March that Jews who vote for Democrats “hate Israel” and hate “their religion.” Trump appears to be overlooking some of his own past comments and behavior, such as dining at his Florida club with a Holocaust-denying white nationalist. James Singer, a spokesperson for the Harris campaign, responded to the comments: “America is better than the fear, hate, and despicable insults of Donald Trump.” RELATED COVERAGE ➤ Harris dares Trump to ‘say it to my face’ and show up for their debate About 8 in 10 Democrats are satisfied with Harris in stark shift after Biden drops out: AP-NORC poll FACT FOCUS: Google autocomplete results around Trump lead to claims of election interference stinsonmarri 1 Quote phkrause Obstinacy is a barrier to all improvement. - ChL
Members phkrause
Harris battles Biden baggage Photo illustration: Aïda Amer/Axios. Photo: Mario Tama/Getty Images The scope and scale of Vice President Harris' influence in the Biden administration has become one of the most important and disputed questions of the campaign, Axios' Zachary Basu writes. Why it matters: In the next three months, hundreds of millions will be spent defining a role Harris has held for nearly four years. Whether she inherits President Biden's political baggage could determine who wins in November. 🖼️ The big picture: Harris' unorthodox campaign pitch — a quasi-incumbent pledging to turn the page to a new generation of leadership — presents messaging challenges on both sides. The Harris campaign is walking a tightrope, aiming to amplify the VP's role in Biden's biggest accomplishments, while keeping his vulnerabilities at arm's length. The Trump campaign is publicly attacking Harris as the "co-pilot" to Biden's "failed" presidency — but privately acknowledging that her candidacy has scrambled the race. Zoom in: There's little doubt the 59-year-old Harris has vanquished the Democratic Party's biggest political headache — Biden's age and acuity. "The bad news is that Kamala Harris does not have the same baggage as Joe Biden," Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), Donald Trump's running mate, said on a private call with donors last weekend. "Kamala is a lot younger. And Kamala Harris is obviously not struggling in the same ways that Joe Biden did," Vance acknowledged, calling Biden's withdrawal from the race a "political sucker punch." 🥊 Reality check: Republicans still see opportunities to go on offense. On Biden's age: "Kamala was in on it. She covered up Joe's obvious mental decline," MAGA Inc., the main Trump super PAC, alleged in a $3.5 million swing-state ad last week, according to AdImpact. On the border: The Trump campaign sees illegal immigration as baggage Harris can't escape — and is pouring $12 million into TV and digital ads on the issue over the next two weeks. Chart: Bloomberg 🔭 Zoom out: On the economy, however, there are early indications Harris won't be saddled with the same dismal polling that frustrated Biden for much of his presidency. A Bloomberg/Morning Consult poll of voters in seven swing states found Trump leading Harris by five points on inflation, down from a 13-point edge over Biden early this month. On issues particularly salient to young voters, Harris has drawn some distance — at least rhetorically — from Biden. On the war in Gaza, for example, Harris vowed to "not be silent" about Palestinian suffering after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — angering Israeli officials. stinsonmarri 1 Quote phkrause Obstinacy is a barrier to all improvement. - ChL
Members phkrause
🔮 Scoop: Wall Street's veep crystal ball The Harris campaign is pressing Wall Street donors to cut checks as soon as possible, citing a financial rule that bars contributions to tickets featuring a sitting governor, Axios' Hans Nichols writes. Why it matters: The urgency of the requests has led some donors to conclude Vice President Harris plans to pick a governor — not a senator, like Mark Kelly of Arizona — to be her running mate. If the campaign signals are being correctly interpreted, that would narrow the veepstakes to Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. Kelly is the only senator currently seen as a front-runner. 💰 How it works: The SEC has a strict rule for some employees at financial services firms regulating their donations to campaigns for state office, like a governor's race. The rules apply to a federal race when a state official, like a governor, is seeking federal office. ⏰ What we're watching: Harris will hold her first rally with her running mate on Tuesday in Philadelphia, suggesting she'll make her pick in the next six days. The campaign announced that Philly will kick off a tour of the seven battleground states next week, with stops in western Wisconsin; Detroit; Raleigh. N.C.; Savannah, Ga.; Phoenix and Vegas. stinsonmarri 1 Quote phkrause Obstinacy is a barrier to all improvement. - ChL
Members phkrause
🗳️ Quote du jour: "Say it to my face" Vice President Harris — speaking yesterday at the most raucous Democratic rally this election cycle — challenged former President Trump to commit to a debate: "So he won't debate me, but he and his running mate have a lot to say about me. ... Well Donald, I do hope you'll reconsider to meet me on the debate stage. Because as the saying goes, 'If you've got something to say, say it to my face.'" Trump told Fox News on Monday that he'd "probably" debate Harris, but "can also make a case for not doing it." He had previously suggested the existing Sept. 10 ABC News debate be moved to a different network. The Atlanta supporters danced to a live performance by Megan Thee Stallion and a campaign soundtrack that included Whitney Houston, Justin Timberlake and Kool and the Gang, Axios' Thomas Wheatley writes. The crowd — overwhelmingly young and mostly people of color — was Harris' largest since launching her presidential bid, campaign officials told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Trump will hold a rally in the same arena on Saturday. 🎤 Trump counterprograms Harris For more than a week, former President Trump has been trying to break into the news cycle dominated by Vice President Harris, Axios' Sophia Cai and Delano Massey write. This afternoon, he'll have a chance at the largest gathering of journalists of color in the country. Why it matters: By appearing at the huge National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago, he's positioning himself in front of local, national and Black media outlets and, potentially, their audiences. The NABJ didn't accept Harris' offer to speak virtually, so she won't attend. Earlier coverage: Trump at NABJ divides journalists. stinsonmarri 1 Quote phkrause Obstinacy is a barrier to all improvement. - ChL

The Heritage got on their proud horse and, like Satan, boasting will make you fall like Humpty Dumpty! No, Bonnie, it doesn't sound sarcastic at all. You are being respectful, and I agree. The Heritage Conference does not speak the truth. They boasted that Project 2025 would be done once Trump became President. The writers of this project were a part of Trump's first Administration. The President was on MNBC three Sundays ago, stating what they would do. He never recanted and the following week he warned to avoid a bloodbath this Project is to be accepted by all Americans. Listen, it is a known fact that abortion went down once the law became intact. Many women, including myself, have suffered from so many female issues that are hereditary. I only had one child, and we both almost died. I have suffered from tremendous pain all my life. My grandmother died because she carried a stillborn baby that took her life! I never had the chance to know her. Many Afrikan American women suffer from both high fertility rates and maternal mortality rates. Women are not respected by those who say they are Christians. Southern Baptist, the removed women out of the pulpit! Now, they are trying to make people accept the Commandments and force teachers to have Bible classes—book banning, false history about the enslavement of black people. This is not from THE MOST HIGH. All of this is from Satan. He does this so our eyes are taken off the Saviour, and we forget to realize we all have sinned. Realizing that THE FATHER sent HIS SON not to die for some but for the world. These people do not keep the Sabbath, and many Bible scholars, who have a deep understanding of the historical context, know what the Pharisees did. They got the people for saying HIS NAME! Instead of searching the Scriptures to see if this is true, many become angry. I used to say God also until I studied EGW, went to college, and learned the truth. In college, studying Biblical religion history, I returned to my room, fell on my knees, and cried out why have we been so deceived? That is when I went to live in Israel and also learned a lot there. So, many things we have been told are not the truth, and EGW Testimony to the Minister stated it on p. 105-106. In that same Chapter, p. 112, she said less would be said about the papacy, and she is right! The Heritage is not a Catholic Conference. Evangelicals are the ones who made Project 2025. Ben Carson, who I know personally, and my mother fed him when he was at Yale. My sister became friends with his girlfriend Candice during that time, who he married! It is Satan who wants people to become forceful, hateful, and angry, and that is not THE SAVIOR! I am not here to cause friction between us. I want to provide the truth according to what the Bible says. Today, we can all get online and use a lexicon and a KJ+ Bible. These are tools that give you a better understanding of the Old Testament. History also shows that the Pharisees wrote the Mishna and the Talmud. In it, they spread numerous lies claiming that they were given the oral right to interpret the Torah! This was false, as the Savior told them. Once the temple fell and Israel was dispersed, did you know that many of them became Catholic? The Jews are Ashkenazi and they adopted the Pharisee belief! It is called Rabbinical Judaic belief! During Bible translation, Bible scholars read their views and added to them. They hid the truth; history will tell you if you studied it as I did. I was studying to be a Biblical historian, but the truth about history is available to anyone today! I do not mind you asking anything. I prayerfully hope we can discuss and respect each other for now on. My YAHWEH bless you and keep you in perfect peace! phkrause

He called him a Nazi, and now he adores him. He also attacked women who are childless, not realizing that men are also childless! May I suggest you read it and then tell me your thoughts? Have you not heard that some states are following the concept of Project 2025? Under reforming the Department of Labor p. 589 that goes against the truth concerning the Sabbath. “God ordained the Sabbath [Sunday] as a day of rest, and until very recently, the Judeo-Christian tradition sought to honor that mandate by moral and legal regulation of work on that day.” The Bible says that we should not do any work on the Sabbath, which is Saturday and not Sunday! Judeo -Christian do not have the right to change YAHWEH'S Law. The Bible says: To the Law and to the Testimony: if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them. Isa 8:20 They continued, saying, "Congress should encourage communal rest by amending the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) to require that workers be paid time and a half for hours worked on the Sabbath.” Spectrum shows where Adventist states clearly: Not all Adventists are habitual alarmists. In fact, there are some with the opposite proclivity: not taking current events seriously. “It’ll never happen!” Admittedly, it’s easy to become numb to the constant bombardment of false warnings. But this isn’t a drill: we’re already seeing policymakers successfully eroding the wall between church and state. On June 19, Louisiana’s governor signed a law requiring all classrooms to display the 10 Commandments. On June 27th, the Oklahoma Department of Education declared that “Effective immediately, all Oklahoma schools are required to incorporate the Bible, which includes the Ten Commandments” for grades 5-12. Other states, including Texas, South Carolina, and Utah, are poised to follow suit. Yes, you may believe in the Bible, but whose interpretations will be taught by the State? I have said that we need to read Matthew 24:1-14 and Testimony to the Ministers p. 105-119 and read what they are not the truth! Let me clarify where I stand; the Bible never states in John about persecution concerning a day. Satan wants that deception to be believed! What the Bible states: That a star, which always symbolizes a righteous angel! This angel has a key to unlock the bottomless pit! John sees first appears smoke, then locust. You know they are evil angels relieved because ELOHIMY tells them they cannot eat or touch any green things, which are also the trees! These are people who have not been sealed yet. This period is also in Matt 24:15-21, which is The Time of Trouble! Then Daniel 12:1-2 show that is when people names are place in the Book of Life! IsraEL in Revelation are not Hebrews but people sealed during the time of Sorrow. Matt 1-14 these are the remnant that are the will be sealed accepting the messager will be preached all over the world. Now IsraEL becomes an army and there is another group. They will be Daniel, and other noble prophets and people resurrected to assist in bringing the great multitude of "green things." These people had been seal yet when those evil angels are released! But here is what Satan do not want you to know! These evil angels are allowed to harm the wicked but they came not killed them even though they want to die! That is because they put some deadly thing upon them! Finally John is show who they, describing them and also their King! He is call a destroyer in both Paleo Hebrew and Greek language and his called an angel of the bottomless pit! Satan! Read Chapter nine and see if what I said is wrong! My grandmother died because she carried a stillborn baby that took her life! I never had the chance to know her. I would have to reread some articles on the reduction of abortions because of Roe VS Wade. I would be very interested in how the numbers were arrived at. It simply defies common sense that women stopped having unprotected sex so less abortions because Roe VS Wade now allowed them to kill their baby. I had a child where both of us almost died. I am so extremely thankful I did not choose to abort him. I personally know three women ,one within the family, others that I have been told about thru friends that were forced to carry a dead child till they went into labor on their own. Dr's refused to induce or C section "as going into labor delivering natually was best for the mother. Roe vs Wade was alive and well for them. With a child already dead they didnt rush to do an abortion.I can't imagine the literal hell, the mental and emotional stress those women went thru, to say nothing of knowing you were in the process of delivering a dead child. When this topic is brought up always without fail it is Oh,we must save the life or health of the mother. The number of abortions performed for that reason is minimal and that was protected before Roe vs Wade.. I medically qualified for an abortion in 1964 as my health and very lief was in danger. "I didn't know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black," Trump said. 🎯 Reality check: Harris has talked at length — including in her book, during her 2020 presidential campaign and in her time as vice president — about her multiracial heritage. Her father is Jamaican; her mother was Indian American. Harris is both the first Black woman and the first Asian American to serve as vice president. Trump, interviewed by ABC News' Rachel Scott, Semafor's Kadia Goba and Fox News' Harris Faulkner, claimed Vice President Kamala Harris "happened to turn Black." It was a false new line of attack against Harris, who has repeatedly talked about her experiences growing up with multiracial heritage as the child of Indian American and Jamaican parents. Zoom in: The interview was combative from the start, with Trump telling Scott her first question was "very rude" and that she works for the "fake news." When asked by Scott whether he thinks that Harris is a "DEI hire," a reference to jabs by some Republicans toward the VP, Trump said she "could be" and "I really don't know." "She was always of Indian heritage," Trump said of Harris. "And she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn't know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black. And now she wants to be known as Black." He doubled down on his Truth Social after the interview, again questioning Harris' racial identity. Trump falsely pushed for years that former President Obama was not born in the U.S. He pushed similar false rhetoric during the GOP primary in 2024, falsely questioning former U.N. Some members of the GOP, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, have urged their party to avoid race-based attacks against Harris in an attempt to not alienate Black voters. But Trump's appearance today signals he is ignoring that strategy. Trump questions Harris' race "I don't know, is she Indian or is she Black?" former President Trump said today as he launched into a shocking diatribe about Vice President Harris' race in front of the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago. "I respect either one, but she obviously doesn't, because she was Indian all the way, and then all of a sudden, she made a turn and she went — she became a Black person," he said. She'd be both the first Black woman and Asian American to serve as president. Harris graduated from Howard University, joined a historically Black sorority and was a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. 🎤 In a combative, often rambling appearance, Trump also defended the Jan. 6 rioters and referred repeatedly to "Black jobs." He accused ABC News' Rachel Scott, one of the journalists interviewing him, of a "nasty" question and "very rude introduction." At today's briefing, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre called Trump's comments "repulsive" and "insulting." Go deeper. Trump's Harris double down Former President Trump used a very specific setting today to unveil a false new attack against his 2024 presidential rival. Why it matters: Trump, who spent years falsely accusing the first Black president of not being a real American, told a crowd of journalists today at the National Association of Black Journalists convention that he doubted the blackness of the first Black woman to serve as vice president. To some degree Trump wasn't all wrong in what he said, but it wasn't necessary to articulate it. Even among democrats that wasn't unusual thinking. Not many can say with a straight face that it was her incredibly high IQ and impressive resume of political accomplishments. Harris has gone from being an embarrassment to walking on water since Biden's withdrawal. What change did she undergo that she is now considered a miracle? There wasn't any benefit to Trump to say what he did. I rarely listen to her for any length of time , her childish giggle everytime she is in front of a mic is like finger nails on a blackboard but I remember her talking about her heritage often and what sticks out in memory is her Indian heritage. She probably mentioned being black but it didnt stand out for me. I do believe she is going to become more black and have some heartbreaking stories to tell of discrimination . What else is new? Members phkrause
Harris says the American people ‘deserve better’ after Trump suggests she misled voters about her race Appearing before the National Association of Black Journalists in Chicago, the Republican former president wrongly claimed that Kamala Harris, the first Black woman and Asian American to serve as vice president, had in the past only promoted her Indian heritage. Harris called the comments “the same old show” of divisiveness and disrespect. Read more. Why this matters: “I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black and now she wants to be known as Black. So, I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?” Trump said while addressing the group’s annual convention. Throughout his political career, Trump has repeatedly questioned the backgrounds of opponents who are racial minorities. Trump previously propagated false theories that President Barack Obama was not born in the United States. “Birtherism,” as it became known, was just the start of Trump’s history of questioning the credentials and qualifications of Black politicians. During this year’s Republican primary, Trump also referred to his then-rival Nikki Haley, the daughter of Indian immigrants, as “Nimbra.” The former president’s invitation to address the organization sparked an intense internal debate among NABJ that spilled online. Trump has sought to appear outside his traditional support strongholds and his campaign has touted his efforts to try to win over Black Americans, who have been Democrats’ most committed voting bloc. I do not believe much of what you say historically is accurate so not worth the trouble to go there. Just an FYI, I have a son, the one that I could have aborted. If I have a question he would be my go to above anyone on this forum or elsewhere He has a incredible mind and interest in history and biblical history . I am almost convinced he has retained everything he has read and researched since he was 6. His favorite books to read at age 6 was Encyclopedia Britanica I said, mainly the Southern Baptist because they recently took away their license. Again, please listen to what I write. I know others do not want women to preach. I was giving you an example. Me, too, I kept my son, I did not abort mine either. However, I was told to do so! I did not tell you everything. But thank you for sharing your story, too! I want you to know that women were apostles and also were ministers. Everyone's true doctrine was either burned or hidden to be found soon. I know the ones found are false because of what they wrote and how it was written. Gen said Adam never men, and ELOHIYM told them both to subdue the earth! The first thing Adam, the male, did blame Adam, the female saying she gave it to him. Why did he take it while standing there and hearing the serpent? Adam named Adam the female Eve after they sinned! Women were used throughout the Bible to lead. My point is respecting women and those who feel they need to abort. The Bible does not say anything about this but shows some women had died due to childbirth. Also, the reason why concubines were used was because of women's fertility problems they suffered. Men felt they were the only ones who selfishly had to produce, which is not what the Bible said! Men misunderstood because they chose to talk about their wife's desires when ELOHIYM spoke to female Adam, the wife. Blessings! phkrause

Biden and every other politican that walks have made statements they should never have made. It is downright silly to claim to believe that Vance, as unnecessary as the comment was, meant he was blaming all women for the inability to produce and absolving all men. What does slavery have to do with this? As in any sensitive topic there are those that lie, exaggerate or otherwise color the issue to suit themselves? The medical problems of you or myself are not the reason for Roe vs Wade I think you need to read and understand that incest and sexual acts do not give a man or the government the right to keep a woman from aborting an unwanted child due to sin. We have a problem: we are not judges. YAHWEH IS! HE did not speak on it, so stop saying that is Biblically wrong! These are traditions of men and not anything that YAHWEH Spoke of! What I know is that YAHWEH took the life of David's son because of sin. HE IS THE CREATOR, and HE only has the right to judge, not us! This country is not based on religion; when Indians were slaughtered, Afrikans were enslaved, and Japanese citizens were gathered up and imprisoned. The civil war happened because people felt that black people who YAHWEH CREATED and their color were subject to a lie when Noah was intoxicated. Then, the Pharisees started the lie. That is why they stopped the people from saying YAHWEH'S NAME! Because of Noah's lie, people did not study and find that Kenaan was a child! It is all about the birthright!
