The news and social media would have us believe that any reasoned criticism concerning the views or doctrines or actions of others, is discrimination against an ethnic or racial group. The media feel free to criticize those they disagree with, but they do not label their own criticism of others, as racial discrimination, or ethnic discrimination. In this climate, how can any of us engage in open debate, or even open discussion? What actually constitutes "discrimination?" Is the definition changing? Is it discrimination to point out that many of the largest donors to liberal universities and liberal Democrat causes (like unimpeded immigration, or social justice doctrine, or critical race theory courses), have Jewish ethnic and/or racial origins? Is it not logical to suggest that everyone (not just wealthy Jewish donors) take a hard look at the outcomes and consequences flowing from such policies and teaching. When students of the Bible point out that homosexual acts are condemned and even specifically "cursed" by the LORD in the documents we call "the Old Testament," are those students of the Scriptures guilty of "discrimination?" Many would say so. In fact, this has already become a "point of the spear" to weaken and eventually destroy "Christian education" within Western society. Just asking. No amount of teaching or discussion will change the final outcome. Does that mean we should "keep quiet," and lay low, to avoid friction and criticism? That is what most of the "Christian" churches did in Nazi controlled Germany. Question is: Would outspoken criticism of the Nazi regime, by the "Christian" churches of Germany at that time, have saved either "the Jews" or the country? Would such outspoken criticism have simply resulted in the extermination of those churches? It is a question for our time, because persecution is coming. But working in Washington, D.C., after the 2016 election, a shift in the city became noticeable.
