The original Diary of Anne Frank was not pulled from the shelves. What got pulled was the revision of her original. In typical fashion the left had to insert sex to make it more interesting. Where was the concern over book banning when it concerned Little House on the Prairie and other similar books. Maybe the problem was not enough sex or transgender paragraphs so they did not feel it right to whine about book banning. Representing someone that the sainted left disapproves of. Personally I think this is a dangerous law, but has come about because of the left and the right pushing back against what they saw as inappropriate for their children. Cant prove it but I believe this is why the present situation with abortion. The left pushed and pushed to abort(kill) a baby right up the the birth date. Pushing to deny medical care to those unfortunately born alive. When it was more in the early months there was not this push back, but some are honest enough to admit to themselves that a late term abortion is killing a child. My so was born at 28 weeks. He was a living, breathing little human being, he was very much wanted but even if he hadn't been and I wanted to abort him,he still would have been a living,breathing little human. Yet there are "christians" that turn their backs on that fact and claim they can't interfere with a womans wishes.
