In the parts of the SDA church I interacted with, the decision of the Friday afternoon meeting regarding Des Ford far overshadowed the main Consensus Document. Reading this interview brought back painful memories. Yet the insights of William Johnsson revealed in the interview suggest that some of that pain and ill-will that resulted from Glacier View would not have been necessary had we initially been told that the Consensus Document did not necessitate the departure of Des Ford.
