Dr. Shane
I have discovered that simply attending church and listening does not feed me spiritually. I need to actively participate in ministry. I have also noticed in the churches I have attended that those just warming the pews are more likely to be ones that gossip and cause tension within the congregation. The Seventh-day Adventist church has so many ministries for its members to get involved with. I suspect that very few churches have all their ministries positions filled. Consider the services held each week. How many have mid-week prayer meeting, Friday-night vespers, Sabbath-afternoon AY, Pathfinders, Adventurers, Adventist Recovery Ministry meetings, Adventist Motorcycle Ministries, Adventist singles, Family Ministries, Women Ministries, Men Ministries, Community Service, etc? Quote You know you would not be nourished by seeing a well-spread table, and others eating. We would starve if we did not partake of physical nourishment, and we shall lose our spiritual strength and vitality if we do not feed on spiritual bread.
