Hanseng Posted June 29, 2023 Share Posted June 29, 2023 Unfortunately, SDA church pastors contribute to the climate of "otherism" by their demagogic attitude. This is certainly not true all pastors but it only takes a few. The more influential they are, the greater damage they do. Church attendees who might have a different view of Scripture than does the pastor will be otherised with the ultimate goal of destroying the reputation and standing of that person who differs. The ruling class in ancient Israel, equivalent to administrators and pastors today, did a lot of damage to the nation, bringing about captivity and ultimately destruction.
