The Ordination of Ellen White: The September issue of Pacific Union Recorder contains an excellent article on the ordination of Ellen white. See:

The following link takes you to the February 14, 1871 issue of The Adventist Review, which informs that the MIchigan Conference voted the Ellen G. White recieve the credentials of an Ordained minister. This was on page 69.

Those first two links brought me to the same pew research article, but the last one did bring me to the right article!!

I have it but can’t read it. 
what page gives the information?

After you click on that 3rd link, it comes up with a 8 pg article on the right side, click until you get to pg 5, than look at the second column, and drag the slider bar on the right down to about the 10 paragraph, it starts out by saying "Moved and voted, that Sr Ellen G White....." There are actual a few other paragraph's that start out with "Moved and voted," You also need to enlarge it to be able to read it!!
