Religious Liberty--1881

in 1881, the Iowa Supreme Court issued a ruling on a SDA religious liberty issue that would be more than strange today.  In that case, the SDAs asked the Court to force a Methodist congregation to allow the SDAs to conduct services in the Methodist building.  The issues litigated, and the ruling of the Court will probably surprise you.

NOTE:  The Iowa Supreme Court issued a 2-part decision.  Both parts were more than strange.
