Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted December 24, 2023 Moderators Share Posted December 24, 2023 in 1881, the Iowa Supreme Court issued a ruling on a SDA religious liberty issue that would be more than strange today. In that case, the SDAs asked the Court to force a Methodist congregation to allow the SDAs to conduct services in the Methodist building. The issues litigated, and the ruling of the Court will probably surprise you. https://spectrummagazine.org/post-archives/adventists-american-courts-state-v-baldwin-iowa-supreme-court-1881/ NOTE: The Iowa Supreme Court issued a 2-part decision. Both parts were more than strange. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory
