Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted January 30 Moderators Share Posted January 30 January 29, 2024 National news: The U. S. Army has announced that three soldiers died in combat, while stationed with an Engineer Unit in Jordan. One was a male soldier and the other two were females. One of the females was a heavy equipment operator. All three were members of an Army Reserve Unit in Georgia. On a daily basis they went to their civilian jobs or schools and returned home in the evening. But, their unit was activated, and the put their uniforms on, and went to Jordan. Folks, it is not just the Active military units that go into combat. Members of National Guard units as well as military Reserve units join the active military in combat operations. In addition, females are as likely to participate in combat operations as are males. All, may be captured, injured or give their lives in combat. NOTE: I was probably the first U. S. Army Chaplain to go into combat with a COED unit. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory
