Members phkrause
I noticed that John Peckham wrote the article! I'm wondering if his father is Pr Ernie Peckham? Quote phkrause By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near. {5T 451.1}
Gustave
God is ontologically one. Ellen White affirmed what the other SDA Pioneers were saying (that the Father was a Person with a "Personality" ( a body). Michael & Lucifer the archangels were also persons with each having a body of flesh of their own. According to Arian teaching Christ could have chosen to do evil and therefore could have sinned. If Christ would have sinned Ellen said that He would have become as if He never existed, eternally passing out of existence leaving Father God as the ONLY God of the multiverse. This is such a radical departure from the Trinity doctrine it simply can't be called the Trinity by any stretch of the means. I'm sorry to be such a stickler about this but this is critical. I guess I'll have to wait for the "next article" the Author said he will publish. [I have posted the second article (Under the title: On the Trinity.) in this thread--Gregory Matthews.]
