Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted March 9 Moderators Share Posted March 9 The Big Bang is postulated to have occurred something like 13.8 billion years ago. The creation of the Universe is suggested to have begun about 13.7 billion years ago. The recent Webb telescope had discovered what is presently the oldest known galaxy, which is thought to have come into existence at about 700 million years after the beginning of the Universe. If this is decided to be accurate, it is likely to change scientific thinking of the beginning of our Universe.
