Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted January 22 Moderators Posted January 22 It seems that in the current political climate issues of Diversity are being given publicity. I have a strong background in exactly what is being talked about today. I went through the basic training given to all Army Chaplains. That class also had Betty Pace as a student who was the 2nd female chaplain in the Army. Decades later I remain angry at what I saw her experience. At the link below, my thoughts on her experience have been published. Note: On the following website, my posts is the 2nd one published. https://www.mykeeper.com/ChaplainMajorRetBettyWPace Chaplain (Major-Ret) Betty Pace Obituary | Keeper Memorials Chaplain (Major-Ret) Betty W Pace. August 5th, 1936 - December 17th, 2021 www.mykeeper.com That time in my life was part of the foundation for my involvement in Diversity training. That included such during the time I was on the faculty of the Army Chaplain School. It led to a later time of training Enlisted members of the Chaplain Team, who were serving in Europe and the United States. And at a later time to working of a team who together trained some 1,000 employes of the VA. NOTE: If you do not know where I am coming from, I consider Diversity Training to be an important part of Labor Relations. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory
