David Koot
Once again, keeping on track with this thread, the doctrine of the remnant church as taught by the Adventist church is not at issue on this thread. That would be a separate topic, which is being addressed in another thread. For purposes of this thread, the Fundamental Bible Beliefs of SDA's are assumed as foundational to this discussion. The narrow question is how the Bible and the Holy Spirit interface in the lives of believers. Dave

The narrow question is how the Bible and the Holy Spirit interface in the lives of believers. "Bible beliefs?" From the contradictions I hear from you, you are advocating not only that SDA's ignore what the Holy Spirit reveals to the membership as Truth from the Bible, but you are also advocating ignoring what the Bible actually says in favor of what interpretations you approve of. The Holy Spirit: "Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers (did), so (do) ye." "Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:" "Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept (it)." [KJV-Bible - Acts 7:49-53] Truth from God. Casey
